OPTICAL TRANSMITTERS - OPTISYSTEM
Adding deterministic jitter to a signal
This example organizes the setup for the ‘Electrical Jitter’ component. It requires an electrical signal and the clock signal from the PRBS in order to estimate the signal bit rate.
Parameter sweeps are use to generate multiple eye diagrams for different values of jitter amplitude and frequency.

Nested parameter sweeps and exporting graphs to text files
This is an implementation of a vbscript program that runs nested sweeps in OptiSystem and exports graphs from a visualizer to text files. Each sweep generates a different file name.
In order to run the script,
- Open ‘Nested Sweep Export Graph.osd’,
- Select the script editor
- You should set an existing folder as destination for the files, parameter ‘FolderName’ (default is ‘c:\tests’).
- In the main menu, select Script/Run
